What’s in the Box

The BearMight comes with more mounting hardware than any optic at this price point deserves. Two adapter plates (Glock MOS/RMR and a spacer plate), a Picatinny rail mount, and a bag of screws that covers every thread pitch you’ll encounter — M3×0.5, M3.5×0.5, 6-32, in multiple lengths. CVLIFE includes three of each screw instead of the usual two, which means you have a spare if you lose one at the field.

There’s also a multifunction wrench that combines a hex driver, torx bit, flathead, and battery tray opener. It’s the kind of tool you’d actually keep in an admin pouch — similar in concept to the Mr. Tono but smaller.

The optic itself runs on a CR1632 battery (side-loading tray, no need to re-zero when swapping), and the hood is removable with four micro-flathead screws if you want to strip it down.

The Reticle and Glass

Three reticle modes: 36 MOA circle + 2 MOA dot, circle only, or dot only. Hold the plus button to cycle. Mounting Flexibility

This is the BearMight’s strongest selling point. The base footprint is RMS/RMSC, which means it drops straight onto compact pistol slides — Sig P365-style platforms, for example. The included adapters extend that to Glock MOS, RMR cuts, and a flat Picatinny mount with integrated threads (no nuts required underneath).

Ed mounted it on a Double Eagle DWS Lupus with a riser to clear a light/laser combo. Without the riser, the optic sat too low for a comfortable cheek weld behind eye protection. With the riser, it locked into a natural sight line. On a pistol, the footprint is compact enough to sit flush on most RMSC-cut slides, though it will overhang slightly on sub-compact frames.

The weight is negligible. With the hood attached, the BearMight adds almost nothing to your platform’s balance — a real advantage on a pistol where every gram affects recoil recovery.

Build Quality

Full metal housing, 7075-T6 aluminum with a hard anodized finish. CVLIFE rates it at 5,000g shockproof and IPX7 waterproof (submersible to 1 meter for 30 minutes). For airsoft, where the recoil impulse is a fraction of real-steel, that rating is more than sufficient. The hood adds structural protection without meaningful weight.

Where It Fits

The BearMight lands in a useful gap in the airsoft optic market. The one gap in the spec sheet: battery life isn’t printed on the included documentation. Based on comparable CVLIFE optics with motion-awake, expect several hundred hours of active use on a CR1632, but that’s an estimate, not a confirmed number.
